Include your app version, iOS or watchOS version, and a short description of what happened. Please do not send a baby’s full log, export, backup, or screenshots with feeding details unless we arrange a suitable secure way to share them.
Get started and log a bottle
Set up one baby’s name and your caregiver name. A baby photo is optional. Choose mL or US fluid ounces; changing units later does not change amounts already recorded.
In Family & settings → Units & one-tap amounts, edit the nine starting amounts and the plus/minus step. Pin favorites while other shortcuts learn from recent bottles, or turn learning off to keep all nine amounts fixed. Shortcuts help you log what your baby drank; they are not feeding recommendations. Your choices apply to your iPhone, paired Watch, and widgets.
Share a family log
One caregiver creates an iCloud invitation in Family & settings; another accepts it on their iPhone. Both need to be signed in to iCloud for sharing and sync. Entries save locally while offline and sync after reconnecting. A Watch sends entries through its paired iPhone.
Joining an existing shared log replaces the local log on that iPhone. If it already has bottle history, One Tap Bottle asks first and saves a backup of the previous local log. The owner manages the invitation. Before replacing an active shared log by import or restore, update One Tap Bottle on both iPhones and Watches.
Import and back up your history
Prepare backup creates a JSON file with the journal’s revisions and imported source fields. Save it somewhere private. A Nara CSV import or One Tap Bottle backup restore replaces the active log and profiles, and saves an automatic backup of the previous log on the importing iPhone. Replacement does not permanently erase old revisions or backups.
One Tap Bottle supports one baby per log. A Nara CSV with more than one family or baby profile is rejected rather than partly imported. Export one baby’s data at a time.
Clear your data
Open Family & settings → Your data. The action shown depends on your log:
- Clear this log removes an unshared log from this iPhone.
- Delete shared log lets the owner delete its CloudKit zone and invitation when iCloud is available, then clear this iPhone.
- Leave & clear this log removes an invited caregiver’s participation and local copy. The owner and other caregivers keep their records.
Clearing also removes app-owned automatic import backups on this iPhone. The paired Watch clears its copy when it next connects. Other caregivers can retain offline local copies until they clear them. Exported files and iOS-managed backups are outside this action. If cloud removal fails, retry from the clearing screen; Clear this iPhone only does not confirm deletion from iCloud.
Deleting one visible bottle keeps a deletion revision so devices can agree on the change. Use Your data to clear a whole log.
Feeding rhythm and reminders
Feeding rhythm compares the current gap with comparable intervals in your log. Its number is a percentile of logged intervals, not a hunger percentage or a recommendation to feed. Follow your baby’s cues and your care team’s advice. Reminders are optional and can be changed in Family & settings or iOS notification settings.
