About One Tap Bottle

One Tap Bottle is a bottle-feeding record for adult parents and caregivers. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

Information you put in the app

Setup asks for your baby’s name and your caregiver name. You may add a baby photo. One Tap Bottle saves a smaller JPEG copy without the original photo’s location or camera metadata; the photo is optional. Bottle entries can include date and time, amount, milk or formula details, notes, and a caregiver label.

The app also keeps the settings you choose, including display units, one-tap amounts, pinned amounts, and whether shortcuts learn from recent bottles. Changing units does not change recorded amounts.

If you import a Nara CSV, One Tap Bottle keeps the imported activities and their original source fields, which may contain more detail than the bottle list shows. It accepts one baby’s profile per CSV and rejects a file containing more than one family or baby profile. A restored One Tap Bottle backup can also contain prior revisions and imported source fields. Review any file before importing it.

One Tap Bottle keeps a revision journal so edits and ordinary bottle deletions can sync reliably. Deleting a bottle from the visible list creates a deletion revision; it does not immediately remove every earlier version from the journal.

The app uses your entries to calculate totals and Feeding rhythm, a percentile comparison with your own logged feeding intervals. That number is not a hunger percentage, clinical assessment, or advice about when or how much to feed.

The journal and device settings are saved on your iPhone. A paired Apple Watch keeps the information needed to show recent bottles and save entries until they reach the iPhone. Widgets keep the information needed for their display and one-tap actions.

iCloud sharing

If you create or join a shared log, One Tap Bottle uses Apple’s CloudKit service. The owner stores the shared journal and baby profile in their private iCloud database and can invite caregivers with read/write access. Invited caregivers can see and change shared records, including entry amounts and times, notes, caregiver labels, imported source fields, and the baby profile or optional photo.

Your caregiver name and units/shortcut settings are configured on your own device, although your name can appear as the label on entries you make. Apple provides iCloud sign-in and CloudKit under its own terms and privacy policy. One Tap Bottle does not ask for your Apple Account password or run its own account service or cloud database.

Reminders, diagnostics, and support

Optional Feeding rhythm reminders are scheduled through Apple’s notification system on your iPhone and may appear on its paired Watch according to your notification settings. Each caregiver chooses their own reminder settings. CloudKit may send system notifications that prompt an iCloud refresh.

One Tap Bottle does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, send your records to a developer-operated server, or use your records for advertising or cross-app tracking. Apple may process information needed to provide iCloud, notifications, App Store services, or operating-system diagnostics under Apple’s policies.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device details, and message. Please do not send a baby’s full log, export, backup, or screenshots with feeding details unless a suitable secure way to share them is arranged.

Backups, replacement, and clearing a log

Prepare backup creates a JSON copy of the journal, including its revision history and imported source fields, for you to save or share. Before a Nara import or One Tap Bottle backup restore replaces the active log, the app saves an automatic backup of the current log on that iPhone. If you join an existing shared log and have local data, the app asks you to replace it and saves a backup before adoption. Replacing a log changes active records; it is not erasure of earlier revisions or backups. An exported file remains wherever you save it.

In Family & settings → Your data, choose the action shown for your log:

  • Clear this log removes the local log, baby profile, settings, and app-owned automatic import backups when the log is not shared.
  • Delete shared log is the owner’s action. With an iCloud connection, it deletes the shared log’s CloudKit zone and invitation, then clears this iPhone’s app data. Invited caregivers lose access to that shared log.
  • Leave & clear this log is an invited caregiver’s action. It removes their participation and this iPhone’s copy; the owner’s log and other caregivers’ records remain.

The app clears its Watch copy when the paired Watch next connects. Other caregivers may still have local copies, especially while offline, until they clear them. One Tap Bottle cannot remove files you exported or backups managed by iOS.

If iCloud removal fails, the app keeps the log locked for a retry and offers Clear this iPhone only. That fallback clears this device and its paired Watch when connected but does not confirm deletion of the iCloud log or invitation; use the original Apple Account to manage any remaining iCloud data. Deleting the app alone is not the same as using the in-app shared-log deletion or leave action.

Your choices and contact

You can change units and one-tap shortcuts, turn off reminders, decline a share invitation, export your journal, or clear the log in the app. The owner manages shared-log invitations. One Tap Bottle is intended for adult caregivers, not children to use or create accounts. Only share a log with people you want to see its information.

We will update this policy if the app’s data handling changes.
